The students were asked to draw a large circle and divide it up into 15 or more shapes. They then chose four markers or colored pencils to neatly color their designs. Once completed, they were asked to cut up their shapes and rearrange them into an entirely new composition. This forces them to alter their thinking after they completed their final circle designs. What they get as a result is a unique work of art with an original title.
